The “Bridge Project” was implemented in Yahya Galip Kargı Primary School in İsmetpaşa Mahallesi, Ulus during the second term of the 2011-2012 academic year, with the goal of reporting physical and mental developments of children who live in disadvantageous areas based on screenings and developing methods to improve the lives of such children. During the Bridge Project activities, the children were subjected to the screenings listed below.
• General Health Screening
•Development Screening
• Screening of information (Hygiene, Personal care etc.)
• Preliminary Evaluation Survey for Social Services
Based on the screenings, a requirement list is created for each child, and the necessary steps are taken in collaboration with relevant institutions and organizations to assist the child in becoming a productive member of the general population.
