We are pleased to announce that our scientific journal, which we named Guven Medical and Health Sciences, started its publication life in January 2024. The medical community agrees on the importance and value of bringing together information on a subject. Congresses, books and journals serve this purpose, namely the collection and dissemination of information.

Among scientific writings, the so-called review is a collection of the author's own knowledge and experience, drawing on many sources. The importance of both physicians and readers accessing this up-to-date information in detail in a single article is obvious.

Publishing the first issue of a new journal of Medicine and Health Sciences involves many challenges. In this first issue, we would like to thank our authors who responded to our invitation and sent their articles for their efforts in the realization of the journal.

In our age of information explosion, we hope that this journey will be long-lasting with the mission of encouraging the discussion of forward-looking visions in science, assimilating the past and capturing promising points for future research.
