"Within the scope of the Dr. Aysun Ahmet Küçükel Medical Awards, which Güven Education and Health Foundation has been organizing since 2008 to encourage Turkish physicians to conduct high quality scientific research and support their studies, the Güven Health Group Scientific Board has carried out the evaluation of the award winners to take part in the 16th Award Ceremony to be held this year.

As a result of the evaluation, the winners of the 16th Dr. Aysun Ahmet Küçükel Medical Awards were determined unanimously."

• Güven Health Group Honor Award: 

Prof. Dr. Orhan Göğüş was deemed worthy of this special award for his contributions to the field of medicine.

• Best Scientific Research Award: 

Uz. Prof. Dr. İlayda Korkmaz received this important award for her study titled "Clinically Correlating the Superiority of Amniotic Membrane Extract over Transplantation in Corneal Wound Healing".

• Young Researcher Project Support Award:

1. Utku Serhat Derici won the first prize with his project titled "Personalized Aortic Valve Production by 3D Bioprinting".

2. Prof. Dr. Fuat Aksoy was awarded the second prize with his study "Development of RNA-Based Anti-Fibrosis Treatment Strategies in Metabolic Steatohepatitis-Induced Hepatocellular Cancer Models".

3. Dr. Ceren Yılmaz received the third prize with her research "Investigation of Environmental Sensor Signaling Activity and Its Relationship with Phenotype in Vascular Anomalies".

• Digital Transformation and Innovative Perspective in Health Award:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emel Okulu was the winner of this valuable award with her project "A Prediction Model Developed Using Artificial Intelligence to Predict Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia in Premature Infants (EPAiCRIS in BPD)".
