Train the Trainer Grief and Mourning of Loss Training

Organized in cooperation with the General Directorate of Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans, Güven Education and Health Foundation and Güven Academy, “Training of Trainers: Loss, Grief and Mourning Training Program” was held at Güven Çayyolu between 11-15 November 2024.

In this special 30-hour program, every topic related to the concepts of grief and mourning was discussed; the details of the process were discussed and learned together with the participants. The aim of the program was to help people working with martyrs' relatives and veterans to better understand the processes of grief and mourning, to learn how to cope with these processes and to improve their support skills.

Through this training, we had the chance to touch the lives of martyrs' relatives and veterans, to stand by them more strongly and to raise awareness about the process they are going through. During the training process, both theoretical knowledge and practical approaches were shared to enrich the knowledge and experience of the participants.

The training program aimed at enabling the participants to support these special groups, not only professionally, but also in a humanitarian way, making a great contribution.
